Dear Mr. Hollet, According to your application for the acceptance of Foreign Supplemental Type Certificate, FAA STC No.SA01260WTI, related to the installation of: The Concorde RG-380E/K and RG-380E/L series VRSLA batteries in the Raytheon King Air Model airplanes listed on the attached FAA Approved Model List (AML) No. SA01260WI. (Part 23 Normal Category Aircraft) Considering that Concorde Battery Corporation has submitted the associated technical documentation, duly reviewed, and evaluated under Colombian Civil Aviation Regulations (RAC 21, § 21.515). The Colombian Civil Aviation Authority (AEROCIVIL) hereby accepts the foreign Supplemental Type Certificate No. SA01260WI, for major alteration application on Colombian registered aeronautical products, in accordance with airworthiness limitations and conditions established in the FAA Supplemental Type Certificate. As provided by Concorde Battery Corporation, the following documents are required to accompany each installation on Colombian-registered aeronautical products, in accordance with RAC 43 § 43.300(b):

5. A letter of authorization of use of the STC to alter the product signed by the appropriate person in the STC holder organization identifying A/C tail number and S/N.

Scope The aeronautical product to be altered must be explicitly listed in the Supplemental Type Certificate (STC). The STC SA01260WI, will be entered in the national index of accepted STCs. Limitations of Acceptance This acceptance applies exclusively to the STC SAO1260WI and its supporting technical data. It does not constitute approval for the importation of the product(s) included in the STC. The installer is solely responsible for ensuring compliance with the requirements set forth in RAC 21.1200 regarding the import of such product(s). Holder’s Responsibilities The STC company holding is responsible for maintaining the STC information, including all published alteration documents, up to date. This is necessary to guarantee safe operation and support the continued airworthiness of aircraft registered in Colombia that are subject to this alteration. Any major modification or change in the STC information must be reported to and documented with the Colombian Civil Aviation Authority (AEROCIVIL).
