 Installation of a Honeywell RDR-7000 Weather Radar System only for the Real Beam configuration on Leonardo S.p.a. AB139 and AW139 aircraft models.  Note: The STC No. SR04472CH is applicable to the following serial numbers for this Make-Model: MSN 31001 to 31157, MSN 31201 to 31999, MSN 41001 to 41023, and MSN 41201 to 41999. Considering that Honeywell International Inc. (Honeywell), Inc has submitted the associated technical documentation, which was reviewed and evaluated under Colombian Civil Aviation Regulations (RAC 21, § 21.515). As substantiated by Honeywell International Inc. (Honeywell), Inc, the Master Drawing AeroTEC STC Master Data List, Doc # ATEC-077-241-1400 in revision G. The drawings and data needed to apply this STC are listed in this MDL, section 3.Real Beam (RB) configuration, required for the installation of a Honeywell RDR-7000 Weather Radar System

and data needed to apply this STC are listed in this MDL, section 3.Real Beam (RB) configuration, required for the installation of a Honeywell RDR-7000 Weather Radar System on Leonardo S.p.a. AB139 and AW139 aircraft models in Colombia as required by RAC 43 § 43.300(b).

Scope

The aeronautical product to be altered must be explicitly listed in the Supplemental Type Certificate (STC). The STC SR04472CH, will be entered in the national index of accepted STC.

Limitations of Acceptance

This acceptance applies exclusively to the STC and its supporting technical data. It does not constitute approval for the importation of the product(s) included in the STC. The installer is solely responsible for ensuring compliance with the requirements set forth in RAC 21.1200 regarding the import of such product(s).

Holders Responsibilities

The company holding this STC is responsible for maintaining the STC information, including all published alteration documents, up to date. This is necessary to guarantee safe operation and support the continued airworthiness of aircraft registered in Colombia that are subject to this alteration. Any major modification or change in the STC information must be reported to and documented with the Colombian Civil Aviation Authority (AEROCIVIL).

Validity

This letter of acceptance shall remain valid only for as long as the Supplemental Type Certificate remains in effect. If, at any time, AEROCIVIL determines that there is reasonable evidence suggesting that the safety of the aeronautical product has been compromised due to an unsafe condition in the altered product, AEROCIVIL reserves the right to revoke this STC acceptance.
