PROTOCOLO POR EL QUE SE ENMIENDA EL ACUERDO SOBRE

COMERCIO Y COOPERACION ECONOMICA Y TECNICA ENTRE

EL, GOBIERNO DE LA REPUBLICA DE COLOMBIA Y LA COMUNIDAD DEL CARIBE (CARICOM) El Gobierno de la República de Colombia y la Comunidad del Caribe (CARICOM): RECORDANDO el Acuerdo sobre Comercio y Cooperación Económica y Técnica (en adelante denominado como “el Acuerdo”) hecho en Cartagena, Colombia, el 24 de julio de 1994; RECONOCIENDO los diferentes niveles de desarrollo cconómico entre la República de Colombia y CARÍCOM, y en particular aquélios paises designados como de Menor Desarrollo Económico (LDCs) de CARICOM; RECORDANDO el corapromiso de otorgar reciprocidad efectiva en el Acuerdo; CONSCIENTES de la necesidad de alcanzar un relacionamiento económico y comercial más dinámico entre ellas; RECONOCIENDO la importancia de aplicar a las importaciones cubiertas por el Acuerdo, un régimen de Reglas de Origen diseñado para forialecer los flujos comerciales mutuos; a TNHAN ACORDADO enmendar el Acuerdo a través de las provisiones de esta

(3) (4) Los productos listados en el Anexo l de este Protocolo originarios de los Estados Miembros del CARICOM participantes en el Acuerdo, serán objeto de acceso libre de derechos en Colombia, a partir del 1 de junio de 1998. Los productos listados en el Anexo 1 de este Protocolo originarios de ¡ Colombia, serán objeto de acceso libre de derechos en los Paises Más Desarrollados de CARICOM participantes en el Acuerdo, a partir del 1 de junio de 1998.

Los productos listados en el Anexo 1 de este Protocolo originarios de ¡ Colombia, serán objeto de acceso libre de derechos en los Paises Más Desarrollados de CARICOM participantes en el Acuerdo, a partir del 1 de junio de 1998. Las Reglas de Origen incluidas en el Anexo II de este Protocolo se aplicarán a las importaciones originarias de Colombia y CARICOM, a partir del 1 de junio de 1998 y reemplazarán las Reglas de Origen previstas en el Anexo IV del Acuerdo.
