Diploma en Derecho del Fútbol (4.ª edición) 2026-2027

Señoras y señores: Nos complace presentar la cuarta edición del Diploma en Derecho del Fútbol de la FIFA, que brindará aportaciones de expertos de renombre, dirigentes, árbitros y abogados especializados en derecho deportivo.

Como parte del compromiso de la FIFA con la educación y el fomento del intercambio de conocimientos, y tras el éxito de las tres ediciones anteriores, el programa brinda a sus participantes un enfoque de aprendizaje práctico y personalizado que combina fun damentos teóricos, investigación y sesiones presenciales. El diploma consta de cinco módulos de cuatro días cada uno, que se centrarán en aspectos fundamentales del derecho del fútbol y se impartirán en cinco ciudades del mundo a lo largo de un periodo de doce meses. La cuarta edición, destinada principalmente al personal jurídico de las federaciones miembro, dará comienzo en las oficinas de la FIFA en Miami (Estados Unidos) en el segundo trimestre de 2026. A fin de facilitar la participación de todas las federaciones miembro, la FIFA cubrirá las tasas de la matrícula del programa completo y los gastos de viaje y alojamiento para los cinco módulos de aquellos participantes en el programa que trabajen en las federaciones miembro.

FIFA Diploma in Football Law Module Dates and Locations 1 2 Introduction to Football Law 12-15 May 2026 | Miami (United States) Module 1 provides an overview of the legal framework governing football, including key principles and the role of various football governing bodies. FIFA T ransfer Regulations — Part I 15-18 September 2026 | Asunción (Paraguay) Module 2 covers the basics of FIFA’s transfer regulations, focusing on the dispute resolution system, player-club matters, such as the signing and breach of contracts, registration issues, and national-team matters.5 3 4 5 FIFA T ransfer Regulations – Part 2 10-13 November 2026 | Rabat (Morocco) Module 3 delves deeper into FIFA’s transfer regulations, addressing the signing and breach of contracts, transfer issues, and the concepts of solidarity and training compensation. Other Aspects of Football Law February 2027 | Dubai (United Arab Emirates) Module 4 explores additional legal aspects of football, including disciplinary, doping, and integrity matters, as well as commercial rights, TV rights, and sponsorship. CAS Proceedings 11-14 May 2027 | Zurich (Switzerland) Module 5 examines the procedures and practices of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), including how disputes in football are resolved through arbitration, and it looks at some leading CAS cases.6 FIFA Diploma in Football Law Programme Methodology The FIFA Diploma in Football Law, conducted exclusively in English, engages participants through sessions, discussions, case studies, and interactive activities, with each module and topic designed to complement and enhance the others. Each module spans four days. Upon successful completion of the programme, participants will receive an official certificate of completion issued by FIFA. Participants’ Profile The FIFA Diploma in Football Law is designed for sports executives who want to enhance their knowledge of football law to further their career, while receiving a comprehensive, in-depth overview of the latest football law rules and trends from experts who are active at all levels of the football industry. A potential participant in this programme may work in the legal department of a FIFA Member Association, hold a legal position at a players’ union, club or league, or work as a sports lawyer in the football field. Speakers The FIFA Diploma in Football Law is taught by experienced football law specialists. T uition Fees The programme fee of USD 10,000 is due upon acceptance and covers materials and operational costs for all five modules, including lunches, coffee breaks and select group activities. FIFA will cover the tuition fees and travel expenses for participants from FIFA Member Associations. The travel expenses incurred by other participants are to be borne by the participant themselves or their sponsoring organisation. Detailed logistical and payment information will be shared with accepted participants in due course.
