La présente publication est la première d'une série de trois tomes intitulés Actes et documents de la Vingtième session (2005). Le tome II, Jugements, publié en 2013, contient une sélection des documents pertinents, y compris les documents de travail et les procès-verbaux des discussions au sujet du projet dit « des Jugements » sur lequel la Conférence de La Haye de droit international privé a travaillé à partir de 1992 et jusqu'à la Première partie de la Dix-neuvième session de la Confé- rence, tenue du 6 au 22 juin 2001. Les négociations n'ont pas permis d'aboutir à la rédaction d'une Convention. Le tome III, Élection de for, publié en 2010, contient la quasitotalité des documents et procès-verbaux des discussions de la Vingtième session de la Conférence, consacrée à la Convention sur les accords d'élection de for, qui s'est déroulée du 14 au 30 juin 2005. Le présent tome contient tout d'abord des informations gé- nérales telles que la composition des délégations, puis les procès-verbaux des Séances d'ouverture et de clôture de la Vingtième session, suivis du texte complet de l'Acte final de cette session. Suivent les documents préliminaires, les conclusions de la Commission spéciale sur les affaires géné-

Conformément à la pratique habituelle, les interventions faites par les délégations lors des réunions ont été rendues en français ou en anglais selon la langue employée par l'orateur. Tome II, Judgments, published in 2013, contains a selection of the relevant documents, including the working documents and minutes of discussions, pertaining to the so-called "Judgments Project" on which the Hague Conference on Private International Law carried out work from 1992 up to and including the First Part of the Nineteenth Session of the Conference, which took place from 6 to 22 June 2001. These negotiations did not produce a Convention. Tome III, Choice of Court, published in 2010, contains most of the relevant documents and minutes of the discussions of the Twentieth Session of the Conference, dedicated to the Convention on Choice of Court Agreements, which took place from 14 to 30 June 2005. This volume includes at the start general information such as membership of the delegations and then the minutes of the Opening and Closing Sessions. The complete text of the Final Act of the Twentieth Session appears thereafter. This is followed by the preliminary documents, the conclusions of the Special Commissions of 2003, 2004 and 2005 on General Affairs and Policy of the Conference, together with the working documents and minutes of the First Commission, which dealt with these questions at the Plenary Session. In accordance with the usual practice, the remarks made by delegates during the meetings were rendered in French or English depending on the language employed by the speaker.
