INSTALACIÓN DE LA SUBCOMISIÓN DE TEMARIO Y PROCEDIMIENTOS El PRESIDENTE: The first item on the order of business is the installation of the Subcommittee on Agenda and Procedure of the General Assembly. The Chair suggests that this Subcommittee be open to all delegations and be presided by Ambassador Peter Boehm, Permanent Representative of Canada, the host country of the thirtieth regular session of the General Assembly. This Subcommittee should prepare the preliminary draft agenda and the draft agenda of the procedures of the thirtieth regular session of the General Assembly. It should take into consideration the revised Rules of Procedure of the General Assembly, adopted ad referendum by this Permanent Council on December 15, 1999, by resolution CP/RES. 760 (1217/99), along with the observations presented by the member states. It is so agreed. The Chair wishes to bring to the Committee’s attention the presentation made by His Excellency Lloyd Axworthy, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada, at the regular meeting of the Permanent Council on February 11, 2000. The Chair suggests that this document, which contains items proposed by the Foreign Minister of Canada, be sent to the Subcommittee on Agenda and Procedure of the General Assembly for its consideration. It is so agreed. This Subcommittee will be open to all delegations and will

This Subcommittee will be open to all delegations and will be presided over by the Chair of the Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Affairs (CAAP), Ambassador Lionel Hurst of Antigua and Barbuda. If there are no observations, it is so agreed. APROBACIÓN DE ACTA El PRESIDENTE: The next item is the approval of the minutes of the meeting of the Preparatory Committee held on May 26, 1999 [AG/CP/ACTA 296/99]. If there are no observations, we shall approve the minutes. Approved. We have disposed of the matters on our order of business.
