Excellency: I have the honor to address Your Excellency, on behalf of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR), to request through your good offices, that a slot be included to allow for the oral presentation on the IACHR Annual Report 2025 during the fifty-sixth regular session of the General Assembly of the Organization of American States, which will be hosted in Panama City, Panama, this coming June 22 to 24.

Article 18(f) of the Commission's Statute establishes that one of the functions of the IACHR is to deliver an annual report to the General Assembly. In addition, in previous years the IACHR has had an opportunity to address the supreme organ of the OAS and to present the human rights situation in the Americas for its consideration.
