Note No. 7-5-M/070 The Permanent Mission of Peru to the Organization of American States presents its compliments to the Chair of the Preparatory Committee of the General Assembly and has the honor to refer to the preparations for the fifty-sixth regular session of the General Assembly of the Organization of American States, which is to be held in Panama City, Panama, from June 22 to 24, 2026. In that regard, the Permanent Mission of Peru requests the good offices of the Chair in submitting for the consideration of the member states, within the framework of the discussions of the Preparatory Committee, the inclusion of a slot for the Justice Studies Center of the Americas (JSCA) to make a presentation to the plenary of the General Assembly. The purpose of the presentation is to set out key aspects of the Center's 2025 Annual Report, as well as the progress and strategic priorities of the institution within the framework of its 25-year history. The presentation will be delivered by Mr. Bruno Novoa Campos, Chair of the Board of Directors of the JSCA. The Permanent Mission of Peru avails itself of this opportunity to convey to the Chair of the Preparatory Committee of the General Assembly the renewed assurances of its highest consideration.
