THE CANDIDACY OF ITS GOVERNMENT FOR MEMBERSHIP OF THE

MANAGEMENT BOARD OF THE INTER-AMERICAN AGENCY FOR

COOPERATION AND DEVELOPMENT FOR THE 2026–2028 TERMPERMANENT MISSION OF ECUADOR

TO THE

ORGANIZATION OF AMERICAN STATES

Note No. 4-2-18/2026 The Permanent Mission of Ecuador to the Organization of American States presents its compliments to the Executive Secretary for Integral Development and has the honor to refer to the elections of members of the Management Board of the Inter-American Agency for Cooperation and Development (IACD) to be held this year. In that regard, the Government of the Republic of Ecuador hereby puts forward its candidacy for membership of the Management Board of the IACD for the 2026–2028 term. The purpose of Ecuador's application is to contribute to the strengthening of inter-American partnership for development by promoting effective and supportive technical cooperation aligned with the integral development priorities of member states and oriented towards the exchange of best practices, social inclusion, and institutional capacity-building in the region. The Permanent Mission of Ecuador to the Organization of American States avails itself of this opportunity to convey to the Executive Secretariat for Integral Development renewed assurances of its highest consideration.
