PROGRESS ON THE WORK PLAN FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION

OF THE ACTION PLAN FOR COOPERATION 2024-2027

Background The Fourth Specialized CIDI Meeting of Cooperation Authorities, held on April 18–19, 2024, established three Working Groups to advance the implementation of the mandates and priorities set forth in the Work Plan for the Implementation of the Action Plan for Cooperation 2024–2027 (AICD/JD/doc.228/24 rev.1). The Working Groups are structured as follows:  Working Group 1: Expanding partnerships and financing to meet development cooperation imperatives.  Working Group 2: Enhancing institutional capacity to capture and communicate Member States’ development needs, while fostering coherence across reporting systems.  Working Group 3: Revamping the Inter-American Agency for Cooperation and Development (IACD) to better respond to the needs of Member States. This document has been updated to reflect what has already been accomplished and what remains to be done. The intent is to have a clear indication of the advancement on the implementation of the Action Plan for Cooperation 2024–2027.1 Progress on the Work Plan for the Implementation of the Action Plan for Cooperation 2024-2027 Objective 1: Enhance governance structures for effective cooperation Priority Action (Task) Activity Indicator Actions to be Taken 1.1.
