VOTE OF APPRECIATION TO THE GOVERNMENT OF URUGUAY

(presented by the Delegation of Guatemala)

THE EXECUTIVE BOARD OF THE INTER-AMERICAN COMMITTEE ON PORTS

(CECIP), CONSIDERING: That thanks to the effort and work of the Government of Uruguay, the Twenty-Sixth Meeting of the CIP Executive Board (CECIP) was successfully held, where the excellent organization of the meeting by the National Ports Administration (ANP) was highlighted; That this organization had the invaluable support of the CIP Secretariat, who has carried out a constant and effective work for the success of this meeting; and That the active participation by CECIP Member State representatives has contributed significantly to the proceedings of this meeting,

RESOLVES:

1. To thank the Government of Uruguay, in particular the National Ports Administration

(ANP), for its contribution to the success in organizing the Twenty-Sixth CECIP Meeting.

2. To express its appreciation to the General Secretariat of the Organization of American States, especially the Secretariat of the Inter-American Committee on Ports, for its invaluable contribution to the success of the CECIP Meeting.

3. To express its gratitude to the representatives of the Member States who, through their participation, contributed to the success of this Meeting. cip01168e01
