The Permanent Mission of Panama to the Organization of American States presents its compliments to the Executive Secretariat for Integral Development of the Organization of American States and has the honor to refer to the positions of the officers of the Inter-American Committee on Sustainable Development (CIDS) of the Inter-American Council for Integral Development. In that regard, the Mission has the honor to advise that the Government of the Republic of Panama has decided to nominate His Excellency Juan Carlos Navarro, Minister of the Environment, for Chair of CIDS for the 2026–2029 term.
