(Prepared by the Technical Coopetration Section for the Management Board of the IACD for the meeting held on April 23, 2026)Strengthening Cooperanet Presentation to the MB/IACDCurrent Challenges • Limited visibility and user engagement – Cooperanet is underutilized. • Static presentation of information – Platform lacks dynamic interaction. • Insufficient integration with ministerial outputs – Cooperation efforts not fully aligned.Planned Improvements • Revamping of Cooperanet to become a dynamic cooperation marketplace: • Enhanced user interface and functionality. • Integration of AI tools to match needs with cooperation offers. • Inclusion of strategic partners and donors. • Promotion of success stories and thematic engagement. • Strengthening its role as the primary regional platform for cooperation.Expected Benefits • Increased user engagement and platform visibility. • Better alignment of ministerial outputs and cooperation opportunities. • Enhanced collaboration with strategic partners and donors. • Facilitated knowledge sharing and regional cooperation.Where are we in the Process • Engaged DOITS to facilitate the development • DOITS extended a call for Proposals and analyzed proposals received • DOITS has contracted a company “One Tree” headquartered in Uruguay with Office in DC • One Tree will do the “Design Thinking” over the next few months • This will include input from Member States and the SecretariatConclusion • Cooperanet is evolving to meet regional cooperation needs more effectively. • Planned improvements position it as a dynamic, user-centric, and AI-enhanced platform. • Stronger engagement across Member States
