DRAFT RESOLUTION ON THE PROGRAM-BUDGET OF THE ORGANIZATION FOR 2027

Section IV.5. Regular Fund budget

CHI (new paragraph):

To instruct the General Secretariat, once the Strategic Plan for 2026 –2030 has been adopted, to incorporate the priorities of the Plan into the formulation of proposed program-budgets, starting with fiscal year 2028, ensuring a clear alignment between the resources allocated and the strategic objectives defined.

Section IV.4. Offices in member states

CHI (new paragraph):

To request the General Secretariat, one year after the implementation of the Strategic Plan for the National Offices, and no later than three months thereafter, to submit to the CAAP a detailed evaluation of its execution, including a cost -benefit analysis, the programmatic impact, and the added value of the offices, as well as any recommendations as to adjustments, as appropriate.

Section V.9. Official travel

CHI (new subparagraph before subparagraph (a)):

To request the Secretary General and the Assistant Secretary General to inform the member states in writing, reasonably in advance of official travel away from headquarters, of the destination, the planned dates, the general purpose of the travel, and the mandate or institutional priority supporting it. The foregoing shall be understood to be without prejudice to activities that, for duly justified and exceptional reasons of confidentiality, security, or political sensitivity, require confidential treatment.
