THE ESTIMATED TIME REQUIRED FOR THE INSTALLATION OF THE NEW

CONFERENCE SYSTEM IN THE SIMÓN BOLÍVAR ROOMOASG/124-2026

Excellency: I have the honor to address Your Excellency in your capacity as Chair of the Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Affairs (CAAP) in order to provide information on and transmit, through you, the estimated timetable for the installation of the new conference system in the Simón Bolívar

Room. The equipment is expected to be delivered in the first days of May. As this is one of the months with the highest number of meetings at the Organization, coinciding as it does with preparations for the General Assembly, the Department of Conferences and Meetings Management has scheduled the dismantling of the current equipment and the installation of the new system in the Simón Bolívar Room to begin on July 1. This process is expected to last approximately one month. During that time, the Simón Bolívar Room will be closed. Please be assured, Excellency, of my commitment to continue informing the CAAP in a timely manner, as appropriate, and kindly accept the renewed assurances of my highest consideration.
