The Secretariat of the Permanent Council presents its compliments to the permanent missions and, on instructions from the Chair of the Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Affairs (CAAP), Ambassador Benoni Belli, Permanent Representative of Brazil to the OAS, is pleased to provide the delegations with information on smart parity with the United Nations in the context of the discussions on the 2027 program-budget of the Organization, which are to begin shortly.

To facilitate access to this information, the chair wishes to circulate the following document prepared by the General Secretariat that was originally distributed in 2023.
