IN OAS ACTIVITIES APPLICATION TO PARTICIPATE IN OAS ACTIVITIES PURSUANT TO ARTICLE 6 OF THE GUIDELINES FOR PARTICIPATION BY CIVIL SOCIETY ORGANIZATIONS IN OAS ACTIVITIES [CP/RES. 759 (1217/99)] [ CitizenGO Inc.]ANALYSIS OF THE ELEMENTS RELATED TO THE APPLICATION CITIZENGO INC. TO PARTICIPATE IN OAS ACTIVITIES This document was prepared by the Office of Relations with Civil Society of the Office of the Assistant Secretary General, to provide information to the Member States of the Organization of American States (OAS) on the civil society organization (CSO) CitizenGO Inc. The information contained in this report responds to resolution CP/RES. 759 (1217/99), “Guidelines for the Participation of Civil Society Organizations in OAS Activities.” This document contains a summary and a list of the various elements and documentation submitted by CitizenGO Inc. in compliance with the provisions of the Guidelines.

1. Background CitizenGO Inc. is a non-profit organization established in April 22 nd, 2021, in the State of Virginia, USA, with the mission to promote and organize the effective mobilization of citizens of all nations, to make an impact in the political process to defend life, family, and liberty, through the use of online resources. To educate the public, the media and policy makers about respect for human dignity and individuals’ rights.

CitizenGO Inc. has presence in Spain and in the Americas, working with a network of volunteers and a multidisciplinary team. It claims to empower citizens across the region to influence

institutions, governments, and organizations on key issues, such as a) Human dignity, advocating for the right to life from conception to natural death; b) Family and marriage, supporting traditional marriage and family structures as foundational elements of society; c) Religious liberty, protecting the rights of individuals to freely practice and express their faith without fear of discrimination or persecution; and d) Human rights and freedom, promoting core freedoms and rights that uphold personal dignity and collective well-being. CitizenGO Inc. operates thanks primarily from contributions from donors. CitizenGO Inc. submitted its application on December 4th, 2024

Primary areas of activity of the CSO and their relationship to OAS activities CitizenGO Inc. states that its mission aligns closely with the advancing of democracy, human rights, and inclusive social development across the Americas. CitizenGO claims that its regional presence enables the organization to make a meaningful contribution through advocacy—by amplifying the voices of citizens on issues related to life, family, and liberty; experienced social leaders and experts; and its capacity for grassroots mobilization, highlighting its network of volunteers committed to promoting civic engagement and collaboration in policymaking, and its presence in multiple countries throughout the hemisphere to engage directly with communities and governments.

4. Identification of potential areas of collaboration with the OAS CitizenGO Inc. did not identify specific areas of collaboration within the OAS but indicated interest of engagement within the following pillars: Human Rights : right to life; protection of family and marriage; freedom of expression association and of conscience and religion; political participation and civic freedoms.

Democracy: promotion of citizen participation; representative democracy and pluralism;

Promote civil society participation in OAS activities, including OAS General Assemblies and Summits of the Americas and other OAS-organized forums. Encourage the participation of civil society in activities organized by the OAS and the registration of civil society organizations in the OAS registry.
