The Permanent Mission of Guatemala to the Organization of American States (OAS) presents its compliments to the Chair of the Permanent Council and has the pleasure to refer to the order of business of the regular meeting of the Permanent Council scheduled for February 4, 2026. In that regard, the Permanent Mission of Guatemala to the OAS wishes to request in relation to item 4 on the order of business "Update of the Special Mission for the Strengthening of Democratic Institutions in Guatemala," that its presentation be delivered by Mr. Carlos Ayala Corao, in his capacity as Chief of Mission. The Permanent Mission of Guatemala to the Organization of American States avails itself of this opportunity to convey to Chair of the Permanent Council the renewed assurances of its highest consideration.
