OF FIVE DOCUMENTS AGREED UPON BY THE COMMITTEECAAP/04/2026

Excellency: I have the honor to address Your Excellency in my capacity as Chair of the Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Affairs (CAAP), to request your kind assistance in having the following item included on the order of business for the next meeting of the Permanent Council: Consideration of the topics referred by the Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Affairs: - Draft response to the recommendations of the Audit Committee (CP/CAAP-4208/26) - Participation of member states in the administration, planning, and policy-formulation mechanisms of the Medical Benefits Plan (CP/CAAP-4209/26) - Draft resolution “Release of the remaining contingency amount authorized as a special measure to sustain OAS operations and human resources in response to the executive order on the foreign aid realignment of United States” (CP/CAAP-4198/26 rev. 1 ) - Terms of reference for the Secretariat-wide workforce audit, CPRs, and Secretariat-wide workforce planning (CP/CAAP-4196/26 rev. 1) - Terms of reference for the external audit of the Indirect Cost Recovery System (CP/CAAP4203/26 rev. 1 ) At its meeting on February 17, 2026, the CAAP decided to refer the aforementioned topics to the Permanent Council for consideration, with a recommendation for them to be approved.
