Note No. 7-5-M/041 The Permanent Mission of Peru to the Organization of American States—on behalf of itself and the Permanent Missions of Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, and Uruguay —presents its compliments to the Chair of the Permanent Council and has the honor to request the inclusion of the item “Commemoration of World Rare Disease Day” on the order of business of the regular meeting of the Permanent Council scheduled for Wednesday, March 4, 2025. This request is based on the mandate contained in resolution AG/RES. 3003 (LIII-O/23) adopted by the General Assembly in 2023, in which the Permanent Council was instructed, within existing resources, to include in its work plan the commemoration of Rare Disease Day as one of the

The Permanent Mission of Peru to the Organization of American States wishes to advise that the concept note and proposed agenda will be forwarded as soon as possible and avails itself of this opportunity to convey to the Chair of the Permanent Council the renewed assurances of its highest consideration.
