Original: Spanish The Chair of the Permanent Council of the Organization of American States, Ambassador Luis Ernesto Vargas, Permanent Representative of Colombia, presents his compliments to all the delegations and has the honor of inviting them to the special meeting of the Permanent Council to be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, in the Simón Bolívar Room, to commemorate the International Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Slavery and the Transatlantic Slave Trade, within the framework of the Ninth Inter-American Week for People of African Descent in the Americas, under the theme Equality that inspires, freedom that transforms, and a Hemisphere that leads, in accordance with the attached order of business.
