NOTICE

(Next regular meeting of the Permanent Council, on April 8, 2026) The Chair of the Permanent Council of the Organization of American States, Ambassador Luis Ernesto Vargas, Permanent Representative of Colombia, presents his compliments to the permanent missions and has the honor to advise that, in coordination with the incoming chair, Ambassador Alejandra Solano, Permanent Representative of Costa Rica, the next regular meeting of the Council will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2026. In that regard, delegations wishing to propose items for the draft order of business are kindly requested to submit their formal request and relevant documentation no later than the close of business on Wednesday, April 1, 2026. In accordance with that deadline the official notice of convocation will be issued on Thursday, April 2, allowing for the observance the of Good Friday holiday. The Chair of the Permanent Council avails himself of this opportunity to thank the permanent missions for their constant cooperation and support and to convey to them the renewed assurances of his highest consideration.
