Excellency: I have the honor to address Your Excellency in your capacity as Chair of the Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Affairs (CAAP) to request your good offices in seeing to the inclusion of the following items on the order of business of the next regular meeting of the Permanent Council: Consideration of topics referred by the Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Affairs: - Draft resolution “Implementation of the General Assembly Mandate on the Merger for the Office of Relations with Civil Society and the Civil Society Component of the Department of Summits” (CP/CAAP-4233/26) - Draft resolution “Authorization of an Exception to the Applicable Indirect Cost Recovery (ICR) Rate for a CAF Contribution in Support of the Office of National Identification of Haiti” (CP/CAAP-4235/26) - “Proposed Draft Terms of Reference for Establishment and Functioning of the Internal Oversight and Implementation Committee of the OAS” (CP/CAAP-4234/26) At its meeting of March 24, 2026, the CAAP decided to forward the above-mentioned drafts to the Permanent Council for consideration, with the recommendation that they be adopted.
