NOTICE

(Convocation to an Informal Joint Meeting – Draft Resolution “Mandates Management and the OAS Strategic Plan 2026–2030”) The Chair of the Permanent Council of the Organization of American States, Ambassador Alejandra Solano Cabalceta, Permanent Representative of Costa Rica, and the Chair of the InterAmerican Council for Integral Development (CIDI), Ambassador Edison Lanza, Permanent Representative of Uruguay, present their compliments to the Permanent Missions of the Member States and have the honor to convene them to an informal joint meeting to negotiate the draft resolution entitled “Mandates Management and the OAS Strategic Plan for 2026–2030” (document CP/doc. 6185/26 rev. 1). The meeting will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026, at 10:30 a.m., in the José Gustavo Guerrero Room, immediately following the informal meeting of the Chair of the Permanent Council with the Coordinators of the Regional Groups and the Chairs of the Permanent Committees—open to all delegations—scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Interpretation services in English and Spanish will be provided only for the informal joint meeting. The Chair of the Permanent Council and the Chair of CIDI thank the Permanent Missions in advance for their participation in this joint effort and avail themselves of this opportunity to renew to them the assurances of their highest consideration.
