The Permanent Mission of Panama to the Organization of American States (OAS) presents its compliments to the Chair of the Permanent Council of the OAS and has the honor to request that a special meeting of the Permanent Council be convened at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 21. This request is made on the occasion of the official visit to the Organization by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Panama, His Excellency Javier Martínez-Acha Vásquez, in the framework of the preparations for the fifty-sixth regular session of the OAS General Assembly, which is to be in Panama from June 22 to 24, 2026. The Permanent Mission of Panama to the Organization of American States avails itself of this opportunity to convey to the Chair of the Permanent Council of the Organization of American States the renewed assurances of its highest consideration.
