Excellency:

I have the honor to address Your Excellency on behalf of the Committee on Inter -American Summits Management and Civil Society Participation in OAS Activities (CISC) in order to submit to the Permanent Council, for consideration at its next regular meeting, the following documents agreed upon by the CISC at its meeting of April 21 this year:

• Recommendation of the Committee on Inter -American Summits Management and Civil Society Participation in OAS Activities to the Permanent Council regarding the applications of seven civil society organizations to participate in the activities of the Organization, document CP/CISC-1266/26 • Invitations to civil society organizations registered with the Organization of American States to the fifty-sixth regular session of the General Assembly (Report of the General Secretariat and draft resolution), document CP/CISC-1264/26 rev. 1
