NOTICE
(Convocation of an informal meeting to consider draft resolutions on the situation in Haiti and the Credentials Committee)
The Chair of the Permanent Council of the Organization of American States, Ambassador Alejandra Solano Cabalceta, Permanent Representative of Costa Rica, presents her compliments to the permanent missions of the member states and has the honor to invite them to an informal meeting of negotiation on the draft resolutions "Support for Haiti -Led Stabilization and Strengthening the Coordination of Hemispheric Assistance" (document CP/doc.6211/26) and "Installation of the Credentials Committee of the Organization of American States" (documents CP/doc.6206/26 and CP/doc.6206/26 add. 1).
The meeting will be held in the Rubén Darío Room at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 14, 2026, with simultaneous interpretation available in Spanish and English.
In order to facilitate a substantive and constructive exchange during the discussions, delegations are cordially invited to submit to the Chair ( CPresidente@oas.org), in advance of the meeting, any observations and comments they deem relevant.
The Chair of the Permanent Council thanks the permanent missions in advance for their participation in the negotiations and avails herself of this opportunity to convey the renewed assurances of her highest consideration.
