The Permanent Mission of the Plurinational State of Bolivia to the Organization of American States (OAS) presents its compliments to the Chair of the Permanent Council and has the honor to request the inclusion of the item “The domestic political situation in the Plurinational State of Bolivia” on the order of business of the regular meeting of the Permanent Council scheduled for May 20, 2026.

This request is made in connection with the participation of the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Carlos Paz Ide, who will inform the members about destabilizing events in recent weeks orchestrated by isolated groups pursuing political objectives.

The Permanent Mission of the Plurinational State of Bolivia to the Organization of American States avails itself of this occasion to convey to the Chair of the Permanent Council the renewed assurances of its highest consideration.
