1. Report of the Technical Secretariat.

2. Presentation of candidates for Chair and Vice-Chair of the Committee.1 /

3.1. Saint Lucia. 3.2. Bolivia.

4. Reports from States Parties on progress made in implementing recommendations made to them by the Committee.3 /

5. Special Session: Preventing and Combating Corruption and Its Relationship to Organized Crime. 5.1. Panel with representatives of international organizations and non-governmental organizations.

1 . This item is included in the Agenda as agreed upon during the Committee’s Fifteenth Meeting. 2 . Article 25 of the Rules of Procedure provides the procedure for consideration and adoption of the country reports in the Committee’s plenary session. 3 . This item in the agenda refers to the reports that each of the States Parties should present as provided in Article 31 of the Rules of Procedure, which reads as follows: “ Article 31. Reports within the framework of the Committee Meetings. At the first Committee meeting of each year, each State Party shall submit a brief verbal report on the measures it has adopted since the first meeting of the previous year with respect to the recommendations made by the Committee. Similarly, each State Party may inform on the difficulties that it

has faced with respect to the implementation of those recommendations as well as on other progress related to the implementation of the Convention during that time period. An electronic copy of these reports, which shall be drafted in a standard format approved by the Committee and shall not exceed five pages in length, shall be published on the Internet web page of the Mechanism.”2 5.2. Voluntary presentations by States Parties.

6. Voluntary presentations by States Parties on Best Practices.

7. Consideration of the second revised version of the “Proposal for Indicators to Determine the Factors that Influence the Results of the Investigation, Prosecution, Trial and Criminal Punishment of Acts of Corruption”.4 /

8. Final review and approval of the reports of Saint Lucia and Bolivia.

9. Election of the Chair and Vice Chair of the Committee.5 /

In relation to this item, the Technical Secretariat has prepared the revised version of the “Proposal for Indicators to Determine the Factors that Influence the Results of the Investigation, Prosecution, Trial and Criminal Punishment of Acts of Corruption,” which is found at the following link: LINK 5 . Article 4 of the Committee's Rules of Procedure sets out the procedure to be followed for the election of the Chair and Vice-Chair of the Committee.
