REPORT
JOINT SUMMIT WORKING GROUP (JSWG) DATABASE OF INSTITUTIONAL EFFORTS TO SUPPORT IMPLEMENTATION OF THE MANDATES OF THE NINTH SUMMIT OF THE AMERICASJoint Summit Working Group (JSWG) Database of Institutional Efforts to Support Implementation of the Mandates of the Ninth Summit of the Americas
The Summits of the Americas Department of the Organization of American States (OAS), as part of its follow-up work on the implementation of the Ninth Summit of the Americas, has developed tools to support that task, including virtual databases of initiatives carried out by the participating states and the institutions of the Joint Summit Working Group (JSWG) to advance implementation of the mandates adopted at the Ninth Summit.
The JSWG Database of Institutional Efforts, 1 in support of the implementation of the Ninth Summit of the Americas, to which this report refers, seeks to highlight the efforts of the institutions that make up the Group, as well as to promote interinstitutional collaboration in the Summit follow-up process, focused on building a more sustainable, resilient, and equitable future. A key task of the JSWG is to support the efforts of member states to advance the implementation of Summits mandates and initiatives.
The database was developed using information provided in the Report on Institutional Contributions of the JSWG (June 2022 – March 2024) for the follow-up and implementation phases of the Ninth Summit of the Americas, prepared by the Department of Summits of the Americas, as well as information drawn from official publications and the websites of each institution. On December 10, 2025, the Database was shared with the JSWG institutions for their review and feedback, and to encourage the submission of additional inputs.
as information drawn from official publications and the websites of each institution. On December 10, 2025, the Database was shared with the JSWG institutions for their review and feedback, and to encourage the submission of additional inputs.
At present, the JSWG Database contains a total of 62 institutional efforts organized under the five themes of the Tenth Summit: Democratic Governance (16); Digital Transformation (13); Our Green Sustainable Future (16); Clean, Renewable, and Sustainable En ergy (10); and Health and Resilience (7).
As shown in the annex hereto, institutional efforts or initiatives are presented under each of the five themes, together with the participating JSWG organizations and, where appropriate, other international organizations that have contributed to those efforts.
