The Permanent Mission of the Dominican Republic to the Organization of American States (OAS) presents its compliments to the Secretariat of the Inter -American Committee on Ports (CIP) and has the honor of referring to the elections of the CIP Executive Board (CECIP) for the upcoming 2026-2029 period. In this regard, the Permanent Mission communicates the decision of the Dominican Port Authority (APORDOM) to present its candidacy to be First Vice Chair the CIP’s Executive Board for the aforementioned period. This candidacy reflects the firm commitment of the Dominican Republic to strengthening the regional port system, hemispheric cooperation and the promotion of sustainable and inclusive port development models. In this regard , the Permanent Mission would appreciate that this candidacy be circulated among Member States for their due consideration.
