The Permanent Mission of Costa Rica to the Organization of American States (OAS) presents its compliments to the Secretariat of the Inter-American Committee on Ports (CIP) and has the honor of referring to the CIP Executive Board and Technical Advisory Group’s elections to be held in the context of the 14 th Regular Meeting of the CIP to be held from June 16 to 18 in Bridgetown, Barbados.
In this regard, the Permanent Mission of Costa Rica is pleased to formalize the candidacy of the Ministry of Public Works (MOPT) of Costa Rica to be Vice Chair the Technical Advisory Group (TAG) on Port-City Relation, Social Responsibility and Gender Equality. This decision is based on Costa Rica's interest in continuing to contribute to the development of the port sector and strengthening the port-city relation in the Americas.
The Permanent Mission of Costa Rica to the OAS appreciates the good offices of the CIP Secretariat in registering and disseminating this candidacy among the Member States.
