1. Informe anual del Consejo Permanente a la Asamblea General (2024-2025)

El PRESIDENTE: We shall now proceed with the presentation of the annual report of the Permanent Council for the 2024–2025 period.

It is my honor to invite His Excellency Ambassador Benoni Belli, Permanent Representative of Brazil to the OAS and Chair of the Permanent Council, to take the floor.

Ambassador Belli will present the report outlining the activities undertaken by the Permanent Council since the fifty-fourth regular session of the General Assembly held in Asunción.

EL PRESIDENTE DEL CONSEJO PERMANENTE: Obrigado, Senhor Presidente.

Tais medidas fortalecem a transparência, a previsibilidade e a eficiência do nosso trabalho coletivo.

El PRESIDENTE: Thank you very much, Ambassador Belli, for your complete and detailed presentation of this report, and for the draft resolutions agreed upon by the Permanent Council and forwarded by it to the General Assembly for its consideration.

11. Draft resolution entitled “Amendment to Article 32.1 of the Statutes of the Inter-American Defense Board regarding its headquarters”

I now offer the floor to any delegations wishing to speak to the [draft] declarations and resolutions. In that regard, I recognize the delegation of Paraguay.

El JEFE DE LA DELEGACIÓN DEL PARAGUAY: Thank you, Mr. President.

Gracias.

El PRESIDENTE: Thank you, Paraguay, noted. I give the floor to the delegation of Guatemala.
