VOTE OF APPRECIATION TO THE GOVERNMENT OF BARBADOS

THE INTER-AMERICAN COMMITTEE ON PORTS,

CONSIDERING:

That thanks to the Government of Barbados, the Fourteenth Regular Meeting of the InterAmerican Committee on Ports (CIP) was successfully organized, underscoring an excellent m eeting organized by Barbados Port Inc.;

That said organization had the invaluable support of the Department of Conferences of the Organization of American States (OAS), which provided constant and effective collaboration for the success of this meeting; and

That the active participation by Member State representatives has contributed significantly to the proceedings of this meeting,

RESOLVES:

1. To thank the Government of Barbados, in pa rticular Barbados Port Inc. , for its contribution to the success ful organization of the Fourteenth Regular Meeting of the Inter -American Committee on Ports (CIP).

2. To express its gratitude to the Firs t Vice -Chair, represented by the National Port Administration (ANP) of Uruguay and Second Vice -Chair, represented by the National Port Authority of Antigua and Barbuda, for their continuous support to the activities carried out by CIP Members and Secretariat during the last three years.

3. To express its appreciation to the General Secretariat of the Organization of A merican States, especially the Secretariat of the Inter-American Committee on Ports, for its invaluable contribution to the success of the CIP meeting.
